About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
At Heatstream Solutions, our team is creating the food and beverage packaging of the future through self-heating technologies. We strive to make packaging with a purpose; capable of saving time and delivering sustained heat for long durations. We have developed the fastest pre made self-heating coffee product ever, reaching full temperature at around 40 seconds. We want to bring consumers packaging that eliminates the need for any external equipment to prepare hot food or beverages, for example coffee makers & microwaves. Since our founding in early 2024, we have developed 3 fully functional products and plan to continue to expand the product line.

Our Story
Thomas Lester, CEO of HeatStream Solutions: In late-October of 2023 around 4:30 a.m., while driving back from visiting my grandparents, I really needed some coffee but did not have the time or supplies to make it. That’s when I decided that I would like to purchase some self-heating pre-made coffee beverages for when I travel or are in a rush; to my surprise there were no such products on the market. Immediately after realizing this product had not been successfully pulled off at a commercial scale, I thought I’d give it a go. By November I had a semi-working prototype, but it had numerable problems. While my prototypes were not up to speed, I decided to enter a business competition called Tiger Cage at Auburn University. During this multiple month’s long competition, I really wanted to win, but I was way behind most of the competitors. Every round the product was improving rapidly, and we were making huge strides. By the end of the competition, we had prototype iteration #12 on our self-heating coffee container, 2 patents pending, and $15,000 in awarded money. Following Tiger Cage, I got right back to work on the product, but there were still huge barriers between us and commercialization; one of which was the need for a team. After a lot of searching, I decided to pull in Scott McGlon and Dan Leonardi, both seasoned entrepreneurs that have been pushing us towards commercialization at a rapid pace. Our latest major development is our recent partnership with QPSI of New Jersey, (A major co packer/manufacturer) for R&D, limited production, and general supply chain set up for our self heating soup product. Over the course of the next few months, we will produce a limited production run and begin pitching to our various major soup producer connections for a licensing deal.
